 image appeared on page 55 of the article "Gives Steady, Reliable Service"  published in the February 2, 1923 edition of "American Lumberman".    The concern also operated three Shay locomotives.  The Lima owner records refer to the concern as "Luedinghaus Lumber Co."

The top image appeared in a 1894 Climax Manufacturing Co catalog.   In both images, the name "A. Lichtenwalter" is lettered just below the cab window.   It is unknown who this individual was.

Southern Iron & Equipment Co. #772 - s/n 846 - at Atlanta, Georgia

The Atlanta, Georgia company was a dealer of used steam locomotives and other equipment. The locomotive was lettered by SIEC for its new owner before
taking possession from SIEC.  The customer was Eugene A. Shaffer of Rosman, North Carolina.  The "Thomas" lettered on the locomotive's fuel bunker is the name of the locomotive.  SIEC's records indicate they purchased this Climax from the Amicalola Marble Co. (AMC) of Ball Ground, Georgia.   AMC is not noted in the generally accepted owner roster of this locomotive.   SEE  the picture of this locomotive shortly after SIEC acquired it from AMC on this page "Climax Images - Si ~ Sz"
