The locomotive operated near Redmond, Washington.

Note: With the company being formed by William and Jesse Brown, the expanded company name would be the Brown and Brown Logging Co.   The locomotive was originally built by the Heisler Locomotive Works as s/n 1436 in 1920 for a different owner.   It was subsequently returned to Heisler for rebuilding and later resale as s/n 1470.

The locomotive, owned by R. J. Darnell Inc., operated near Batesville, Mississippi.

Built in the1930's  - gauge unknown - 30 tons - 2 trucks 130

Although the gauge of this locomotive is unknown, it is likely it was 36", as the company had another Heisler (s/n 1617) that is known to be 36" gauge.

The company's headquarters were in Memphis, Tennessee with operations in Cary, Isola & Louise, Mississippi.   The locomotive formerly ran with the road #4 for the company.

Belzoni Hollandale Inverness and Eastern Railroad #100 - s/n 1211
Built 1911 ~ Std gauge ~ 20 tons - 2 trucks

The locomotive, owned by the Belzoni Hardwood Lumber Co., operated near Belzoni, Mississippi.
Due to the placement of the saddle tank above the boiler, a square sand box added just below and on either side of the front portion of the smokebox replaced the typical Heisler boiler mounted round sand dome.

The locomotive operated near Youngstown, Ohio.  Its shop number is unknown.  The company & its predecessor, Bessemer Limestone Company, owned 12 Class B Heisler locomotives.  One was standard gauge and the remainder were were gauged at 38".  

The image appeared on page 695 of the 1924 edition of  "The Mining Catalog" published by Keystone Consolidated Publishing Co., Inc.  of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania

The locomotive operated near Youngstown, Ohio.  Its shop number is unknown.  The company & its successor, Bessemer Limestone & Cement Co., owned 12 Class B Heisler locomotives.  One was standard gauge and the remainder were were gauged at 38".

BR&L was a dealer and rebuilder of railroad equipment.   The locomotive was purchased from Canal Lumber Co. of Benmore, Mississippi and later resold to Gulledge Lumber Co. of Haines City, Florida on 01/1926.
