The Heisler builder's records do not note CPL owned and ran a Heisler with the #53 road number.   They do note CPL owned and ran:

s/n1021 as road #2 & #58
s/n1046 as road #2 & #52
s/n1076 as road #4 & #54.

s/n of this locomotive is unknown,  we believe it to be s/n 1213, built in 1911, weighing 32 tons and of a standard gauge.
